This site and the services on it are operated by Ashutosh Banerjee, an independent advertising and marketing automation consultant based in India, serving clients in India, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait. • Details you submit in the booking or enquiry form: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, business name, website, monthly ad spend range, preferred call time and the problem you describe.
• The call slot you select, which is used to create a calendar invitation and a video meeting link for you.
• Usage data collected by analytics and advertising tools: pages viewed, referring source, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and clicks on buttons such as call, email and booking links.
• Technical information your browser sends automatically, including IP address, which is used for security and fraud prevention.

• To respond to your enquiry, schedule a strategy call and send you the calendar invitation and meeting link.
• To deliver the services you engage: campaign setup and management, WhatsApp automation, reporting and support.
• To process payments and issue invoices, cancellations and refunds.
• To measure which pages and campaigns bring enquiries, so advertising budget is spent sensibly.
• To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.

Your information is never sold. You will not be added to a mailing list without asking for it, and any marketing message includes a way to unsubscribe.

This site uses cookies and similar technologies for measurement and advertising. These include Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, and, where campaigns are running, conversion and remarketing tags from advertising platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google Ads, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok and Snapchat, along with Microsoft Clarity for understanding how pages are used and Ahrefs Analytics for traffic reporting.

These tools record events such as a page view, a click on a call or email link, the start of a booking and a completed enquiry. Where consent is required by law in your region, advertising and measurement tags are only loaded after you accept, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time. Essential cookies needed to run the site cannot be switched off. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of personalised advertising in your Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and Snapchat account settings.

The data these platforms receive is limited to page and event information used for measurement and campaign optimisation. Personal identifiers such as your email address are not placed in page addresses or shared with advertising platforms for audience matching.

Content Studio is a private application used to plan, schedule and publish content to social media accounts that the account owner has connected. The following applies to it specifically.

• What is collected: when an account owner connects a social media account, for example LinkedIn or Bluesky, the application receives the access token the platform issues, the account's name and profile picture, and the posts and basic performance figures for that account. Only what is needed to publish and report on approved content is collected.
• How it is used: solely to publish content the account owner has approved, to show scheduled posts and their performance, and to keep the connection working. It is not used for advertising, and no profiles of individuals are built.
• Sharing: this information is not sold, rented or shared with third parties. Content is sent only to the social media platform the account owner chose to publish to.
• Storage and security: access tokens and account data are stored on a private server behind an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, with access restricted to the operator.
• Retention and deletion: data is kept while an account remains connected. An account owner can disconnect at any time inside the application, or revoke access from the social media platform's own settings, and can request deletion by writing to hey@ashutoshbanerjee.com.
• Third-party platforms: each connected platform handles data under its own privacy policy. Connecting an account does not change those policies.

Some trusted providers process data on our behalf, only as needed to run the service: hosting and database infrastructure, Google Workspace and Google Calendar for email and scheduling, Razorpay for payment processing, WhatsApp Business messaging services where an automation is in place, and the analytics and advertising platforms named above. Payment card details are handled entirely by the payment gateway and are never stored by us.

Because clients and providers are in India, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and the United States, data may be processed outside your country. Where that happens, providers are chosen who maintain appropriate safeguards and contractual protections for the data they handle.

• Enquiry and booking records: up to 24 months from your last contact, unless you ask for earlier deletion.
• Client engagement records, invoices and payment records: as long as required by Indian tax and accounting law, typically eight years.
• Analytics and advertising data: for the retention period set by each platform, usually between 2 and 26 months.
• Connected social accounts in Content Studio: until the account is disconnected or deletion is requested.

You can ask for a copy of the personal data held about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, withdraw consent for marketing or advertising cookies, or object to a particular use. Requests go to hey@ashutoshbanerjee.com and are answered within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

These services are offered to businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. Personal data about children is not knowingly collected. If you believe a child has submitted information, write to us and it will be removed.

Data is held on infrastructure protected by encrypted connections, access controls and restricted administrator access. No system is perfectly secure, so if a breach affects your data you will be notified without undue delay along with the steps being taken.

If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting existing clients are communicated by email.
